You're right on every count. My 'Trapp is also holding on by only one bolt in the back, but so far it seems OK. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have no leaks at the header joint. Just last night I bit the bullet and put all 8 disks in (I had been using 6), and I rather like the results. If this pipe rusts out in the next couple of seasons, I'm going to be really pissed. The bike sounds, and performs, so well with it that I can't imagine going back to the stock pipe.
